I’ve had some really interesting compliments recently. Again, I’m playing fast and loose with the word ‘recently’ here.

Some were better than others.

You’re a really good kisser has been a favourite of mine. I like it when it’s said in a tone of almost disbelief. Like, I had no idea you’d be such a good kisser. Get in there with those low expectations is what I say.

You’re a really fast typer is a recent compliment that I’m baffled by. These happen when I’m in a chatroom with my cam on. Apparently I type loud AND fast. Double whammy there.

Going along a similar theme, someone read my profile and said to me You can actually spell and I wanted to fall over laughing. The bar? It’s in hell.

You have such good taste in music might my favourite compliment of recent times (it wasn’t that recent!). I was driving him to the train station after spending time in a hotel room together when In the Midnight Hour by Wilson Pickett came on my playlist. Every time I hear that song, I think of him and that compliment.

And it still makes me smile.
